01. Estate Planning and Probate Services

We Provide Estate Planning Services to meet each client's specific needs and wishes, including Wills, Trusts, Financial and Healthcare Powers of Attorney and Probate Administration.

  • Will

    • Definition: Legal document that sets forth your wishes regarding the distribution of your property upon death.

  • Trust

    • Definition: A trust is an agreement between the person creating the trust, called the Settlor, and the Trustee, who administers the trust property for the benefit of the beneficiary.  A trust may protect assets and may avoid probate and can be a valuable estate planning tool.

  • Power of Attorney

    • Definition: A legal document giving one person the power to act for another person. It can have broad legal authority or limited authority to make legal decisions about property, finances, or medical care.

    • When would you use it: Your power of attorney can be effective immediately upon signing or in the event your illness or disability.

  • Probate Services

    • Definition: Legal process in which a will or trust is determined valid and authentic.  Probate also refers to the general administering of a deceased person's estate.
